Before a reel can be wound, it must be caught. SMEAZ Core Starting Solutions provide the immediate, high-tack grab needed to secure the paper or film web to the core instantly. We specialise in intelligent splittable tapes (like tesa® 51194) that hold tight during winding but split cleanly when the reel is unwound, leaving the core clean and ready for reuse.
